F. John Meyer II

     Frederick John Meyer II, age 55 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, July 16th, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He fought against cancer and other complications for several months. He was a 1983 graduate of Grove City High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was a Product Support Manager for HomeTown Ticketing in Columbus where he fully enjoyed his work. He also enjoyed spending time with his Akita, Murphee, gardening, cooking, reading, and anything associated with learning. John is survived by his significant other, Rebecca (Becky) Williams; mother, Kay White (Bill); daughter, Mary Jo Everson (Peder); brother, Erich Meyer; and sister, Linda Griggs.  He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick John (Fritz) Meyer and his grandparents, Mary Kathryn and John Holdsworth. Services are open to the community on Thursday, July 29th, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in John’s name to the Marion Area Humane Society.
