Franklin Russell Jordan

Franklin Russell Jordan, age 75, passed away January 19, 2022, at the Morrow County Hospital. On June 10, 1946, Franklin was born to the late Okie and Rena (Means) Jordan in Leonardsburg (Delaware), OH. On October 30, 1970, he married is wife Carol Lee Griffith.

Franklin was a member of the Local 18 Union, the American Legion 401, and the Moose lodge. Franklin worked as a heavy machine operator for 50 years and spent most of that time working at SE Johnson. Franklin was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War loved his family, his dogs Buffy and Gidget, Snap-on Tools and westerns.

Franklin in preceded in death by brothers: Bernard, Raymond, “Lucky,” Bill, Pete and Tom Jordan, sisters: Rosella McNeal, Ruth Terry and Eddie Bias.

Franklin is survived by Son Brian (Sabrina) Griffith, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Wednesday January 26, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place the next day Thursday January 27, 2022, at 10am also at the Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan McBeth officiating. The burial will take place at the old Kilbourne Cemetery immediately following the funeral. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Franklin Jordan in their time of need.
