Gary Paul Silvers, age 75 of Marion passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at his home.

Gary was born on August 4, 1945 to the late Earl Silvers and Emma Mae (Sandbower)(Silvers) Rife in Buffalo NY, He Graduated in 1964 from Harding High School. On January 24,1970, he was married to Ruth Davis in Marion Ohio.

Gary served our country in the United Stated Navy (Retired).  He worked at Fairfield Engineering for almost 40 years till they shutdown. He retired in 2007 at the age of 62, got a part-time job at the Smith Clinic as a security guard he was there seven years.  Gary was a Brother, Uncle, Husband, and a Loving father plus a good friend.  He liked Corvettes and riding on his cycle Gary will truly be missed by family and friends. 

Those who will cherish his memories include, his wife:  Ruth Anna (Davis) Silvers of Marion Ohio, his children Stephanie Rae (Ted) Silvers Cahill of Bexley, Ohio and Brock Paul Silvers of 

Marysville, Ohio; his three grand-daughters Nora, Jane Cahill, Adelaide Ruth Cahill, Rosemarie Mae Cahill; Sister Judy Augenstein; his three nephews Danny, Steve, and Mike Augenstein.  Sister-in-law Betty (Davis) (Tom) Wyckoff. Plus, his nephews Craig and Kirk Wyckoff, also his nieces Laura (Davis) (Ray) Brown and Cindy Davis.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 starting at 1pm at the Marion Cemetery with military honors.  Donations may be given in Gary's name to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600 Doylestown, PA 189101 The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Silvers family.
