George Miller Obituary
George Franklin Miller, Sr., age 91 of Marion, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1931 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to the late John A. and Olive (Kreamer) Miller.
George was a people person to his core. He retired from the United States Postal Service after over 25 years as a mail carrier, and he forever cherished the connections he made along the way. Prior to his career with USPS, he served in the United States Navy. He was always very aware of his Christian faith, and he carried that with him until the end.
He is survived by his son John Miller and his grandchildren Jacqueline, Elizabeth, Heather, Brandon, Shasta, Mike, and Brandy.
He was preceded in death by his son George Jr. and his daughter Barbara.
A private graveside service will be held by the family.
