Herbert Minor

Herbert Lee-James Minor passed away on June 26, 2022, at age 69, at the Marion General Hospital. Born April 12, 1953, to his mother Millie Minor. He would marry Sheila Kay Minor on April 12, 1980. Herbert is preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Herbert worked in automotive repair and as a CDL driver. He served in the United States Army and left the service on August 13, 1978. In his free time, he was a fan of auto racing and model trains. He spent time in the 70’s racing at local short tracks.

He is survived by his sons; Robert Minor and James Minor of Marion, Jeffrey (Heather) Minor of Marengo, OH; his grandchildren; Ruth, Titus, and Jude; his sisters; Anne Minor of Columbus, OH and Sharon Dremann of Bucyrus, OH.

There will be a memorial service held at the Trinity Baptist Church, 220 S. Main St., Marion, on Friday, July 8th, 2022 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. A formal service will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at 11 am at Trinity Baptist Church with burial to follow at Marion Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Scott Cole.
