Larry E. Fisher

     Larry E. Fisher, age 72, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 11:14 PM in the Marion General Hospital. He was born in Marion, Ohio on June 11, 1949 to the late Farrel “Bud” and Loretta Jean (Brandt) Fisher.

     Larry graduated from Marion Harding High School in the class of 1968 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of American Legion Post #584.  Larry was employed with the Marion City Fire Department as a firefighter for 25 years before his retirement.

     On March 7, 1970, he married Patricia “Pat” Meyer in Marion, Ohio and she survives.  Larry is also survived by two sons, Lance Fisher of Marion, OH. & Matt Fisher of Columbus, OH., three grandchildren. Jaxon, Dane, & Cort Fisher, a niece and a nephew.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Loyd T. Fisher.

     Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.  A memorial service will be held following the visitation on Wednesday beginning at 5:00 PM. Father Thomas Buffer will be officiating and celebrating  Larry’s life.
