Linda Carole Quinn

     Linda Carole Quinn, age 76, of Marion went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 6:52 AM from the Marion General Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1946 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Arthur L. and Edna Louise (Smith) Martin.  Linda married James C. Quinn on September 30, 1972 in Marion, Ohio  and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2019.  She was a very “Kind-Hearted” person who possessed the ability to make people smile with her smile. She could always pick you up when you were down.

     Linda is survived by a daughter, Marty Penix of Marion, OH., a stepdaughter, Kathleen (Gene) Ruble of The Colony, TX., two sisters, Bertha (Ivan) Els & Marsha Akers both of Marion, OH., two brothers, Roger (Sheryl) Martin & Terry (Jeriann) Martin also both of Marion, OH.,  5 grandchildren, Brandon Guisinger, Alexis (Jordon) Penix-Huffine, Storm (Jillian) Penix, Victoria (Aavery) Bull, & Joy Ruble, and 4 great grandchildren, Reign, Bengy, Jaydan, & Aaren.

     Linda was a long time member of the 1st Church of the Naz and later the Kennsington Street Church of the Naz where she was head of their monthly morning breakfast served to the public. She was employed as a braider operator with Parker-Hannifin Corp. for over 30 years before her retirement. In her younger years, Linda was very active in sports, playing on several area softball teams.

     Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens with Rev. Gregg Parkman officiating.
