Louella Sprouse

     Louella Sprouse, age 71, of Marion, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 3:51 AM in the Marion General Hospital. She was born in Pike County, Kentucky on August 8, 1950 to the late Earnest and Ernestine (Fife) Maynard. Louella married Luther Lee Sprouse Jr. on November 28, 1981 in Marion and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1990.  She was employed for a short time with the Tyrone City School System in Pinellas County, Florida. Following her return to Ohio, she worked in the custodial department for the City of Dublin.

     Louella is survived by a daughter, Crystal (Roy) Dotson of Marysville, OH., two brothers, Earnest Maynard II of Marion, OH. & Bill (Beckie) Maynard of Live Oak, FL., a sister, Thelma Charles of St. Petersburg, FL. three grandchildren, Haylee Saylor (fiancee’ Hannah Edelman), Hayden Ward, & Jarrod Dotson, and a great grandson, Jerrod Michael Thomas Dotson.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Maynard II, and two sisters, Nancy Maynard & Brenda Hall.

     Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A private family service and burial will take place at a later date. Contributions may be made to the Sprouse Family to assist with expenses.
