Marilyn Jean Swartz

Marilyn Jean Swartz, age 75 of Marion, went to Heaven on June 20, 2022.

She was born on October 15, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Richard and Evelyn (Jewett) Amrine.  Marilyn married the late Bill Swartz on November 4, 1966.

Marilyn graduated in the 1965 class of Harding High School.  After raising their children, she attended Marion Technical College, graduating in 1989. She was employed at Clark Metal Products for 11 years and Central Christian Church for over 20 years.  Over the years, she volunteered at Marion General Hospital, Marion City Schools and Pleasant Elementary School.

Surviving are loving children: Mary (Rob) Eubanks and Emily (Kyle) Klaiber. Preceding her in death, her son: Andy Swartz.

Siblings include her brothers: Rick (Carol); Robb (Penny) and Jeff (Becky) Amrine.

Also surviving are her 7 precious grandchildren: Madison Meachem; Kylie, Krissy, Alexis, Avery and Aleece Klaiber and Logan Eubanks.

Marilyn loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 10am to 11:30am on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Boyd Funeral Home to show support for her grieving family. A funeral service is scheduled after calling hours starting at 11:30am on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Joel Fetter, a lifelong friend officiating.
