Virgil Ray Crowe

Virgil Ray Crowe, age 86 of Marion, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Virgil was born on June 14, 1935, to the late Lee and Carrie (Elliott) Crowe in Green Camp, Ohio. On March 2,1954, he married the love of his life C. Pauline Mills.

Virgil served our country in the United States Airforce from 1954 to 1957. He worked at the Marion Power Shovel for 20 years as a machinist. Virgil belonged to the Heritage Bible Church of Marion, Ohio.

Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Virgil E. Crowe, three sisters and six brothers.

Those who will cherish his memories include his wife of 67 years, sons: Terry L. (Linda) Crowe of Marion, Danny R. (Linda) Crowe of Marysville, Ohio, brother: Donald E. (Inez) Crowe of Lexington, Ohio, seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 5pm to 7pm and funeral service on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 11am at the Boyd Funeral Home. Burial following at the Green Camp Cemetery. Donations may be given in Virgil’s memory to the Heritage Christian School, 193 Marion Williamsport Road E., Marion, Ohio 43302.
