Ellene Fragmin

Ellene Fragmin, age 75 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her residence.

She was born October 18, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late L.T. and Mary Magdalene (Hay) Culwell.

On July 27, 1964 in Marion, Ohio she married John Fragmin, he preceded her in death on August 20, 2014.

Ellene was Head Cook for Elgin Schools for 18 years before she retired.

She is survived by her daughters, Vanessia (Butch) Purvis of Marion, Mary (Tim) Troesch of Snellville, GA., Angelia Fragmin of Marion, Anita (Scott Cravens-Brown) Olson of Westerville, OH., Annalisha Fragmin of Marion, Brittany (James) Caldwell of Mansfield, OH., step-daughters, Dixie Kinkaid of VA., Debbie Howell of VA., step-son, John Howell of VA., six brothers, Kenneth Culwell of Marion, Paul Culwell of Marion, Leonard Culwell of Marion, David Culwell of Marion, Benjamin (Pat) Culwell of TX., Christopher (Karen) Culwell of Marion, three sisters, Annalee Gaskins of Marion, Elizabeth (Robert) Culwell of Larue, Marsena (Gene) Culwell of Marion and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her daughter, Veronica Cooney.

Visitation for Ellene will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 12pm to 1pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, where social distancing will be observed with a maximum of 25 in funeral home at one time. Graveside services will follow at Marion Cemetery at 1:30pm with Pastor Pat Gilliand officiating.
