Aaron Ray Alexander, 45, lifelong resident of Marion, OH, left behind shoes too big to fill on Christmas day, unexpectedly passing from complications of COVID Pneumonia at the Marion General Hospital. Born to the late Clifford Ray Alexander (2005) and Ivory Doll Alexander (2016) of Marion. Aaron married Megan Alexander on August 25, 1997, in Claysville, PA.
Aaron graduated from Ridgedale High School in 1994 before entering the workforce. He worked for 26 years as a corrections officer and worked his way up to Investigator for NCCI or now known as NCCC after 26 years. He was very proud of his career and developed many lifelong friends. He would go on to be a co-owner of Peppy’s Pizza with locations in Fredericktown and Mt. Vernon, OH for four years. Anyone who knew Aaron knew that he loved pizza. He enjoyed being a part of the business and the community that he came to know through the years. He enjoyed working with everyone who was employed there and looked forward to working on his designated nights, running the pizza oven, or socializing in the drive thru. Aaron also was a bit of a sneakerhead and was known for having a decent collection of shoes. A family man, he enjoyed being with his loved ones whenever possible, especially a yearly vacation to Kentucky with his brother Bill (Emily), and Megan.
