Ada (Daniels) Yates

Ada Yates (Daniels), age 88, passed away on April 13, 2026, surrounded by her family. Ada was born on October 6, 1937, to her late parents, Strawthur Daniels and Mazie Elam, in Waterloo, OH. She would meet Gerald Yates, and they would get married in 1955.

Ada was a family woman and lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved all of them dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed growing flowers and gardening.

Ada is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gerald Yates, her son, Michael Yates, daughter, Kathy Marie Yates, brother, Bill Daniels, sisters, Carolyn and Faye Daniels.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her son, Gerald “Buddie” (Annie) Yates, Jr., daughters, Deb Yates and Teresa (Tim) Keller, grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Justin, Trevor, Cam, Dillian, Levi, Heavyn, and Trinity, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Ada will be laid to rest at the Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
