Alfonso Maria Villavicencio

Alfonso Maria Villavicencio, age 63, of Marion, passed away at Marion Rehabilitation Nursing Center on July 23, 2025. Alfonso was born on March 08, 1962, in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala to the late Alfonso and Candida Rosa (Caceres) Villavicencio.

Alfonso put family before everything else in his life, he loved being around his sisters brothers, and children. Alfonso loved food and would try new things whenever he got the chance. However, often he enjoyed keeping the food choices simple as he loved pizza and rice and beans. Alfonso also loved to be outdoors during great weather. Prior to having a disabling car accident Alfonso worked as a car salesman and was the top salesman at the dealership that he worked at. People that knew Alfonso knew that he had a great sense of humor and was very quick witted.

Alfonso was preceded in death and by his brothers, Alfredo Caceras and Oscar Ruben Villavicencio, and his granddaughter, Camilla Raine Bautista.

Alfonso is survived by sons, Michael Bushatz, Paul and Alfonso Villavicencio, daughters, April (Willis) Villavicencio and Angela (Hammock) Villavicencio, sisters, Norma Hickman, Hellowee Parsell, Jeanette Collins, Cleopatra Villavicencio, Erica Brown, and Karina Villavicencio. 

The family has asked that donations in Alfonso's honor be made to Tranquility Hospice.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
