Obituary
Allen L. McLaughlin, age 77 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Marion General Hospital after a long-time battle with kidney disease.
Allen was born on February 10, 1946, to the late Stanley and Rita (Ballinger) McLaughlin. He was a longtime resident of Nevada, and Marion, Ohio.
Allen was a kind soul that had a unique and spontaneous sense of humor. He is known as Allen the duck by many of his friends and family.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry McLaughlin.
Those who will cherish his memories include his sister, Sharon (David) Snyder of Marion, Ohio; a nephew David (Tara) Snyder, and many extended family members.
A graveside service will be scheduled at Nevada Cemetery at a later date. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the McLaughlin family.
