Aloma Archer

Aloma Virgina Archer, 77, of Marion, OH, passed away peacefully at the Presidential Post-Acute assisted living facility, on March 13, 2025. On March 15, 1947, she was born to the late William H. Long and Dana M. Strauser, in Marion, OH.

Aloma was a homemaker for her entire life and lived for her family. She loved her family and spoiled her grandchildren any chance she could and then would send them home. She loved listening to music. Some of her favorites were oldies like Elvis Presley and old country songs. In her free time, she loved to go to Lake Erie, enjoying cookouts, reading, doing art projects, and crocheting.

Aloma is preceded in death by her parents. 

She is survived by her son; Wade (Emma B.) Archer, daughters Amy L. (Eric) Archer, and Amber Archer, grandchildren, Mike, Chris, Caden, Rilan, Rhett, and Megan, three-great grandchildren, Lily, Josie, and Ruby, her significant other of 17 years, Noah Williams, and her special friend, Sarah Bayles.

The Archer family would like to invite Aloma’s friends and loved ones to the Boyd Funeral Home on March 17th, 2025, for calling hours from 1 to 2pm. There will be an interment service at the Grand Prairie Cemetery at a later date. Pastor Steve jobs will be officiating all services.
