In Loving Memory of Andrea Turner

Andrea Turner, 55, of Marion, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind family, countless friends, and a community who will forever remember her laughter, warmth, and light.

Born June 26, 1970, in Marion to Donna Butler, Andrea had a gift for connecting with people. Her quick humor, “gift of gab,” and big heart made everyone feel welcome, and she was always the one to lift spirits and bring joy.

Known affectionately as Andie, NeNe, Dre, or Pooh, she will be remembered as a devoted sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend whose smile and spirit touched countless lives.

Family was her greatest love. She is survived by her brother, Jason Butler, and her nephew, Aiden and niece Kensington, the joys of her life. Her aunts - Sheila and Vikki along with her cousins and extended family. 

Andie loved family gatherings, Ohio State Buckeyes, fishing, just simply hanging out with her friends - all special times filled with laughter. 

After her mother’s passing, Andrea found comfort in painting, carrying on her mom’s passion.

Andrea cherished her lifelong friend Kristie Chaffin-Pennington and dear friend Connie Allen.

Growing up Andie was always with family, spending nearly every day together at MaMa’s house being silly, dressing up, and singing, even as adults she was the life of family gatherings. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Legion Post 584, 142 Olney Ave, Marion, OH 43302. Family and friends are invited to share memories and honor Andrea’s remarkable life. 

The family asks that you wear your best scarlet and gray.
