Ann R. Tennar, age 62, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, surrounded by her family. Ann was born on December 28, 1963, in Marion, OH to her late parents, Jerry Thomas and Alisa M. Neeson.
Ann graduated from high school with an artistic mind that led to her taking a few years in college at The Ohio State University to study the arts. After coming back to Marion, she found the love of her life, Forest Tennar, and they would get married on October 28, 2000. Their marriage date was important because she loved Halloween. She was a spiritual lady but also was a Lutheran. Being someone who loved art, she was a self-employed nail tech for 12 plus years before retiring. She loved to spend time with her family and friends very much. Going out and making fond memories was one of her biggest thrills in life. Ann was very outspoken and was honest with her thoughts, which many people gravitated towards. Being a confident woman, she also enjoyed going out for Karaoke nights and singing. Besides her social side, she had a soft spot in her heart for cats, rabbits, and flowers, like peonies and marigolds. Music was another pastime for her and her favorite genre was rock.
Ann leaves her memories to be cherished by her husband, Forest Tennar, children, Tristian and Tessa Tennar, brother, Jon Thomas, brother-in-law-, Robert Tennar, her niece Avery, and her two nephews, Kagen and Brody.
The Tennar family asks that donations can be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church or to the family to help them in these tough times. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be helping the Tennar family out in their time of need.
