Annie Nayace Wallace

Annie Nayace Wallace, age 88 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence. She was born on January 1, 1933 in Banner, VA, to the late Sam Minton and Lottie Dingus. She married the late Charles J. “C.J.” Wallace on July 21st, 1951.

From gardening, canning, and much more, Annie Wallace was known for being a homemaker most of her life. She also loved the outdoors, camping and fishing were some of her favorite activities. Religion was important to her and she attended the Free Will Baptist Church.

Annie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; C.J. Wallace who left her side February 12, 2010 to be with the Lord; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

Annie is survived by her sons; James (Karen) Wallace of Prospect, OH and Ernie (Brenda) Wallace of Marion, OH; daughter, Terry (Robbin Starks) Wallace; her brother, Johnny (Anna) Minton of Huron, OH; and her sisters; Maxie (Mallard) Laney of Crab Orchard, VA, Nancy Jane (R.L.) Crawford, and Rita (Jim) Mitchell, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

There will be calling hours on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the Boyd Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the calling hours, officiated by Pastor R.L. Crawford of Banner, VA. Interment will be at the Grand Prairie Cemetery following the funeral service.
