Beatrice Louise Kellogg, age 93 of Marion, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Marion General Hospital.
Beatrice was born to the late Arthur and Fay Audrey (Yaeger) Knickel in Marion, Ohio. On February 2, 2007, she married Jack Kellogg in Marion, Ohio.
Beatrice was an Executive Assistant at Marion Power Shovel for 48 years. She enjoyed going to antique car shows with Jack, where they met many friends. She belonged to the Shellman Ford Auto Club, Hudson Automobile Club, Penn-Ohio “A” Ford Club, and Antique Auto Club. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-daughter, Kay Schlabig and her two brothers, Larry Knickel and Greg McKenzie.
Those who will cherish her memories include her husband, Jack Kellogg of Marion, Ohio; her step-daughters: Deb (Scott) Price and Becky (Mike) Gore, both of Marion, Ohio; her step-son-in-law, Matt Schlabig of Westerville, Ohio; her brothers: Art Knickel of Kenton, Ohio and Bob Knickel of South Carolina; her sister, Donna (Ike) Dietsch of Marion, Ohio; her six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Family and friends may come to honor Beatrice’s life from 11am to 1pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Boyd Funeral Home. A funeral service will start at 1pm at the funeral home. A burial will follow the funeral service at Marion Cemetery. Donations may be given in Beatrice’s memory to Marion Steam Shovel Company, c/o The Huber Machinery Museum, 220 East Fairground St., Marion, OH 43302. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Kellogg family.
