Beatrice Mae Bond (Holland) Sigrist

Beatrice Mae Bond, Sigrist (Holland), passed away at the age of 94 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born December 26, 1930, to Edward L. and Florence Holland (Beach), Bea married Robert R. Bond in 1949 until his passing in 1979. Together they had seven children. She married her second husband, John Sigrist, in 1994 until his passing in 2006.

Beatrice was a homemaker and took exceptional care in raising her children. In her spare time, she enjoyed growing flowers, reading books, and doing puzzles. Later in life she enjoyed watching birds.

Besides her parents and husbands, Bea is preceded in death by her first son, Russel L. Bond, her sister, Marjorie Mathias, and brother, Wayne “Dutch” Holland.

She leaves behind children, Linda (Forest Timothy) Disbennett; Becky (Delbert Roberts) Bond; Bob Bond; Teresa (Eric J.) Fleming; Brenda (Craig Grant) Bond; Melody (Craig) Mitchell, and stepdaughter, Christy England, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great- granddaughter on the way!

Family and friends are invited to the visitation of Beatrice Mae Sigrist on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 10am until 12pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service immediately following the visitation at the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family of Beatrice in their time of mourning.
