Bertha Jane Tucker

Bertha J. Tucker, age 93, of Marion, Ohio passed away on February 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 7, 1927 in Meeker, Ohio to the late Dennis and Florence (Reinhardt) Ryan. 
Bertha married Foster Tucker, the love of her life.  She and Foster had 5 children, Cheryl (Gene) Lumberson of Marion, OH, James (Leanne) Tucker, of Marion, OH, Ron (Sarah) Tucker of Clearwater, FL, Paula (Johnny) Lumberson of Jensen Beach, FL and Bonnie (John) Potter of Marion, OH. She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Jennifer Potter and her two son- in-laws, Johnny Lumberson and John Potter, Jr. 
She is also survived by her grandchildren John (Staci) Potter, Shelley (Brian) Baxter, Jessica (Aaron) Kimes, Matt (Amanda) Tucker, Adam (Suzanna) Stevens, Casey Stevens, Jimmy Lumberson, Shawn Lumberson, Kristy (Mike) Starlin, John Lumberson and Josh Lumberson.  She is also survived by her many many great and great-great grandchildren whom she adored. 
Bertha enjoyed bowling and was a member of T.O.P.S. for many years which she was very proud of. She also loved to play cards with all her family and friends and was known for her “cheating” at cards. Anyone who played cards with her knew that. 
Visitation will be held at Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 W. Columbia Street, Marion, OH on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 
12:00pm -1:00pm with the service following at 1:00pm. Only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
