Betty B. (Casto) Blevins

Betty Bell Blevins, age 78, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on April 3, 2025. Betty was born in Craigsville, WV., to the late Denver and Kathleen (Cutlip) Casto in 1946. She married John Junior Blevins, and they had many sweet years together until his passing. They had four wonderful children together.

Betty was a devout Christian and found peace with caring for others. She loved to travel, Florida being one of her favorite places to go. She was often found cooking Sunday dinners; her home was a place where people came together in love. She adored flowers of all kinds. She was a woman with a strong work ethic, she worked as a packer at Wyandot Popcorn for over 30. She was also a charter member of Brother Dwight Skeans.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Archie Griffin, Darrel Casto, Charlie Casto, Roy Casto, and William Casto.

She leaves behind her Daughter, Bonnie (Darrel) Farmer, sons, Mathew Mark (Andrea) Casto, Charles Jr. (Christi) Blevins, Jeffrey Allen (Kaitlynn) Blevins, Serenity, Savanah and Shawn and her brothers James Casto, Jerry (Libby) Griffin, Gene Casto, her sisters Sue (Phil) Thomas, Mona Grant, her 15 grandchildren, her 9 great-grandchildren, her 1 great great-grandchild, her many nieces and nephews, her long time neighbor and friend, Bert, and her Precious Lady Bug.

Calling hours will be held on April 7, 2025, from 5-7pm at Boyd Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be on April 8, 2025, at the Orton Street Church at 1pm With Pastor Jimmy Mc entire officiating. The Boyd funeral home is honored to be assisting the family if Betty Blevins in their time of need.
