Betty Lou (Jones) Miller

Betty Lou Miller, age 95, of Marion, passed away on June 19, 2025, in Ashland, OH. Betty was born in Marion to the late Earl W. and Varian W. (Taylor) Jones Sr., on June 23, 1929. Betty is a graduate of Marion Harding High School and worked for many years in the office at Uhler’s Department store prior to working as an Advertising Auditor at Lord, Sullivan and Yoder, retiring in 1994.

Betty was a member at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, and a volunteer for the Marion Meals on Wheels. Betty loved to go shopping, especially for new clothes. She enjoyed listening to barber shop music. Her love for music was bigger than simply listening to songs as she was an accomplished piano player that would often play for the local radio stations. Betty loved to keep in touch with friends and family and her favorite way to stay updated with them was through cards. Betty loved sending and receiving cards from her friends and family.

Left to remember Betty are niece Karen (Al) Sanders of Ashland, Ohio, great nieces Alison (Mike) Bush and Karie Sanders (Jack Beaseker), along with the children of Alison/Mike: Michael, Alexander, Dominic, and Mary Bush.

Betty was preceded in death by her brother Earl W. Jones Jr.
