Obituary
Betty Jean Orr, age 92 of Marion, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Kingston Residence of Marion. On March 3, 1931, she was born to the late Clarence and Delphia (Massie) Stanley in Marion, Ohio, and on February 14, 1959, she married the love of her life, Leroy “Bert” Orr.
Betty worked at Probst Supply for 35 years and Bender Plumbing for 15 years. She was an active member of the Creators Guild and enjoyed sewing and crafting.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Stanley, and a sister, Phyllis Green. Additionally a nephew, Clarence “Sonny” Stanley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Leroy “Bert” Orr, and many loving friends.
Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11 am at Marion Cemetery, officiated by Betty’s brother-in-law Rev. Denny Coburn.
