Blaine K. "Bucky" Fulton, Jr.

Blaine K. “Bucky” Fulton, Jr., age 77 of Marion, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Bucky was born on April 26, 1946 to the late Blaine K. and Ruth (Jordan) Fulton, Sr. in Richwood, Ohio.  On March 5, 1979, he married Barbara Miller in Marion, Ohio.

Bucky served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after working for more than 40 years.  Bucky was an avid golfer and bowler.  He was a true OSU Buckeye fan.  He will truly be missed by family and friends.

Bucky was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 29 years, Barbara Fulton; his brother, Michael Terry and his sister, Patty Borst.

Those who will cherish his memories include his children: Kenneth (Sheila Fisk) Fulton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Erik Fulton of Marion, Ohio, James Broughton of Marion, Ohio, and Kimberly Fulton of Richwood, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kyle and Debbie; his brothers: Robert Fulton of Marion, Ohio, Charles “Punk” Terry of Ashley, Ohio, and Tom Terry of Marion, Ohio; his sisters: Clara Wood of Marion, Ohio, Diane (Dean) Rhoades of Marion, Ohio, Penny Randall of Nashville, Tennessee and Denise Fulton of Caledonia, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may come to honor his life from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 starting at 11am at the funeral home with Gary Lyons officiating.  A burial will follow the service at Grand Prairie Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Bucky’s memory to: Veterans Memorial Park, 1503 Pole Lane Road, Marion, Ohio 43302.
