Brenda Gail Alderman-Boyd

Brenda Gail Alderman-Boyd, age 59 of Marion, went to be with Jesus on Friday, July 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Bud (James) and Peggy Alderman in Columbus, Ohio on December 6, 1964.  On October 29, 1988, she married the love of her life, Kenny Boyd.
Brenda got to fulfill her dreams of being a hair stylist. She loved her job and her clients for 35 years.  Above everything, she loved her family and friends with everything she had and would do anything for them.  Brenda was known for her strength, beauty, talent and above all her selfless love.
She will greatly missed by her family: husband of 35 years, Kenny Boyd; her daughter, Sabra (Scott) Conley; her sons: Dale (Kaycie) Boyd and Jake (Ashley) Boyd; her six grandchildren: Avery, Ronan, Alayna, Knox, Dax and Wade; her brothers: Jim (Ruth) Alderman, Don (Lori) Alderman and Micah (Amanda) Alderman; her many nieces and nephews and especially her best friend of 44 years, Deb Hudson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Peggy Alderman, her children: Drew and Cara Boyd and her brother, Rodney Alderman.
The family would like to thank Tranquility Hospice for helping her through her journey.
Friends and family may come to honor Brenda’s life from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow starting at 1pm at the funeral home.  Per request from the family, please feel free to dress casually (i.e. blue jeans and T-shirts, etc.) A burial will follow after the funeral service at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
