Brenda J. Winfield

Brenda Jean Winfield, age 81 of Marion, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her home. On December 3, 1940, she was born in Marion to the late Carl V. and Annabelle (Sims) Campbell, and on December 11, 1970, she married her late husband, Forest E. Winfield.

Brenda graduated from Harding in 1958. She was a member of the VFW 3313 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 584, Auxiliary of the Moose #448, and Auxiliary Garrison #137 Army-Navy. She loved birds and flowers, and she always enjoyed Bingo and bowling as well as spending time with her friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her daughters Tracy (Tony) Peale, Lori (Michael) Allen, and Lisa Aldridge; her son Steve Ballenger; her stepdaughter Melody (Chuck) Bennett; her stepson Barry Winfield; her sister Debra (Robert) Cook; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Forest; her parents Carl and Annabelle; her stepfather Carl E. Webb; her stepson Rick Winfield; her sisters Beverly Campbell, Cheryl Rosebrough, and Judy Cornely; her brother Carl Campbell; her stepbrother Mark Webb; and her grandson Brandy Winfield.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. Services will take place on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Health Hospice.
