Carl David Campbell

Carl David Campbell, age 76 of Marion, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Woodside Village Care Center in Mount Gilead, Ohio. On April 30, 1945, he was born in Marion, Ohio, to the late Carl V. and Annabelle (Sims) Campbell, and on March 24, 1990, he married his late wife, Kathy F. (Blevins).

David graduated from Ridgedale High School in 1963, then proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. He worked for Purex for 20 years and then Whirlpool for 8. He was a member of Central Christian Church and a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, and he was an avid cruiser, having completed his 14th cruise just recently. His family remembers him for his off-the-wall sense of humor, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter Anndalene S. (Dana) Queen; his son Bradley David (Alison) Campbell; his step-son Mark A. (Becki) Lemasters; his sisters Brenda Winfield and Debbie (Bob) Cook; his grandchildren Kimberly, Jacob, Tyson, Faith, Brandon, Dylan, and Isaiah; his great-grandson Elijah; and his sisters- and brothers-in-law Brenda and Richard Reish, Ed and Jan Rosebrough, and Bill and Debbie Blevins.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Rebecca Sue Miller; his second wife Kathy Campbell; his father Carl V. Campbell; his mother Annabelle Campbell; his step-father Carl Webb; his sisters Beverly Campbell, Cheryl Rosebrough, and Judy (Dick) Cornelly; his half-brother Mark Webb; and his brother-in-law Forest Winfield.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 10 am to 12 pm at Central Christian Church, 421 Mount Vernon Ave., Marion. Services will take place at 12 pm at the church. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
