Carol Lee Christian

Carol Lee Christian, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on January 4, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to the late Ermil Eugene Pine and Susan Jane Rowe in Marion, Ohio, in 1938. She went on to graduate from Harding high school. She graduated from Ohio Northern with her RN. In June of 1959, she married the love of her life, James Rodger Christian, in Kirkpatrick, Ohio. Her family always counted on her. She was a labor and delivery nurse at Marion General Hospital for over 30 years and taught Lamaz past retirement. She faithfully attended Kirkpatrick Church of Christ where she had been married to Jim Christian for 65 years. She loved to watch movies with her grandchildren and treasured her long drives to dinner with her husband. She thoroughly enjoyed visiting auctions and yard sales with Jim. They had many wonderful years together before his passing in 2024.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Ermil and Susan, her husband, James Christian, her 2 brothers, and her son, Micheal.

She leaves behind her son, Robert Christian, her daughter, Melody, her brothers, Steve and Greg Pine, her sisters, Loretta Curts and Connie Rowe, her grandchildren, Lily, Mark, Tyler, and Arron, and her 2 great grandchildren, Kyle and Khloe and her great, great grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 25, 2025, at the Kirkpatrick Church of Christ at 1pm. Flowers welcome or donation to the Kirkpatrick Church of Christ.
