Cecil Lee Parker

Cecil Lee Parker, age 86 of Marion, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021, in Marion Ohio. He was born on Nov. 2, 1934, in Moulton, AL, to the late Lona Pierce and Dallas Parker. He married his loving wife Nedelka (Griffin) Parker on Sept. 20th, 1987.

He loved camping, RV travel and fishing. He was strong, generous and stubborn, as well as a huge family man. Who his grandchildren were his world. Cecil worked at Sunbeam Corporation for 35 years.

He is survived by his daughters Diane (Charles) McCann of Illinois and Cynthia Milder of Wisconsin. Stepchildren Danny Workman of Florida, Barry Workman of Marion, Rhonda Young of Marion, Sharon Pendley of Alabama. His Grandchildren Michael, Christina, Thomas, Shannon McCann, Cory Workman, Holly Wiedenhoft , Kalee Heipp, Edward Workman,  Michelle Workman,  Melissa LaBounty,  Michael , Artty , Richie, and Billy Mayse. Also, the oldest of many great grandchildren Janie Mayse.

He preceded in death of sisters Estell Dotson, Hazel Lathem, stepsons Michael and Gerald Workman and grandson Stephen Workman. 

Friends and family may call Wednesday September 29, 2021, from 11am until 1pm with the funeral services taking place at 1pm at the Boyd Funeral Home. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Family of Cecil Parker in their time of need.
