Charles Stevie Lewis Jr.

Our beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, Charles Stevie “Steve” Lewis Jr., passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. He was born on April 22, 1960, to Charles Stevie Sr. and Lola (Ward) Lewis. Before retiring, Steve dedicated more than 15 years to his work with Rumpke.

Steve found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time with family and friends, and could often be found fishing, hunting, or golfing at Valley View or Kings Mill Golf Courses. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he was a diehard Raiders fan through every season. When the weather kept him indoors, Steve enjoyed playing darts, bowling, and billiards.

Steve is survived by his children, Christy Boggs, Charles S. (Latisha) Lewis III, and Josh (Aurora) Lewis; his siblings, Gale Lewis, Ellen Carr, Evelyn (Jeffery) Runyon, Laura (Jason) Hendrickson, Penny Russell, and Brian Lewis; six grandchildren, Anthony (Maxwell), Jeron, Evan (Peyton), Julia, Ava, and Lola; and three great-grandchildren, Bryson, Riley, and Kennedy. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with a very special friend, Sue and  family friend, Sandra Lewis-Reece.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jackie Lewis.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Steve’s life at a visitation on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Boyd Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at noon at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg, with Pastor Cory Carroll officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Gentiva Hospice in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided Steve during his final days.
