Charles David Nichols Jr.

Charles David Nichols, Jr., passed away on September 25, 2024, at the Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 24, 1965, in Fayette, WV, to his father, Charles David Nichols Sr. and his late mother, Barbara Ann Meadows.

Charles worked at Wilson Bohanon Lock Company for 20+ years as a heat treatment specialist. He was also an Army veteran, serving as an MP. When he wasn’t working, he loved Hallmark Christmas movies and shooting guns. He loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He also had a spot in his heart for his two cats, Squeaky and T-Sauce.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, sister; Kim Breslin of Columbus, OH, two sons; Josh (Sarah) Nichols, of Bucyrus, OH, and James “Tony” Nichols of Green Camp, OH, two nephews; Brian and Ramsey of Columbus, OH, and two grandchildren; Kolt and Remy.

Charles’s family would like to invite his loved ones to the Boyd Funeral Home on October 4th, 2024, for visitation hours from 11-1 p.m. There will be a service immediately after visitation hours at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

There will be an internment service at the Green Camp Cemetery following the funeral service. Pastor Steve Phillips will be officiating all services.
