Charles E. Russell

     Charles E. Russell, age 74, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the Marion General Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1949 in Marion, Ohio to the late Charles J. and Vivian (Fout) Russell. Charles was raised by his uncle and aunt, Calvin & Jackie Lehman who preceded him in death along with a sister, Brenda Schenkel.

     Charles attended Elgin High School. He was employed with Pollock Steel Co. and Tecumseh Products for many years before his retirement. He also spent many years farming which he deeply loved.

     Surviving are 4 brothers, Calvin Russell of New Port Richey, FL., John Lehman of Meeker, OH., Steve Lehman of New Bloomington, OH., & Gary (Pam) Lehman of Richwood, OH., 2 sisters, Patricia “Pat” Malone of Gladewater, TX. & Karen Sue Freeman of Upper Sandusky, OH. along with numerous nieces & nephews.

     Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM in the LaRue Cemetery. His brother, Calvin Russell, will be officiating.
