Charles L. "Chuck" Stout, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on
Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Born on December 31, 1941, in Delaware, Ohio,
he was the son of the late Daniel and Loretta (Orthoefer) Stout.
Chuck was a dedicated member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, a
member of the Knights of Columbus, and a proud veteran of the Vietnam
War. He found great joy in gardening, collecting antiques, and listening to
music. Alongside the love of his life, Shirley, he cherished their vacations to
Amish country and their many trips to flea markets.
Chuck is survived by his children: Patricia Douce, Thomas (Linda) Massey,
Douglas Massey, and Charles (Kristen) Stout II. He is also survived by his
sister, Susie (Jerry) Keys, as well as numerous grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his
bunny and faithful companion, Little Bit.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Massey; two daughters,
Debra Pratt and Jacqueline Smith; his parents; his sister, Mary Layton; and
two brothers, Joseph Stout and Johnny Stout.

Visitation will be from 4pm-6pm at Boyd Funeral Home on Wednesday, May, 13, 2026.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Church, (251 N. Main St Marion OH 43302) on Thursday May, 14 2026.
Immediately following services, there will be procession to Caledonia Cemetery where there will be a Military Honors Ceremony beginning the Graveside Service.
