Obituary
Christopher B. “Chris” Hornbeck, age 56, of Marion passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 7:00 PM at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1966 in Kenton, Ohio, the son of Earl J. and Naomi Ruth (Pfleider) Hornbeck. Chris is survived by his father, Earl, and stepmother, Linda (Redmon) Hornbeck. He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi, and his loving wife, the former Karen Beck, who passed away in March of 2002.
Chris retired after 13 years as a welder for Honda of America due to his failing health. He was an avid NASCAR fan. A memorial graveside service will be announced on this website at a later date. Donations in Chris’ name may be made to Ohio Health Hospice.
