Clyde Patrick Burk, Sr.

Clyde Patrick Burk, Sr., passed away at the age of 73 at Marion General Hospital on December 27, 2024. He was welcomed into the world by his late parents Roy Burk and Rosie Doles on November 28, 1951.

Clyde served his country with honor, deploying in the U.S. Army as MPD, and getting discharged early due to injury. He didn’t let that hold him back at all and ended up helping his son grow his business, Junior & Senior Small Motor Repair, LLC. He loved spending time with his son and working on motors and other odd jobs around the shop. He was also an avid member of the American Legion Post #605.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bill Burk.

He is survived by his son; Clyde Burk, Jr., his granddaughter; Savanna Leeann Bice, numerous cousins and nephews, and his best friend; Dave Louderbach.

There will be a burial at the La Rue Cemetery at a later date.
