Colleen Nicole Griffith

Colleen Nicole Griffith, age 40, of Marion, Ohio passed away at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Colleen was born in Marion, Ohio to Brian Griffith and Tina Grate on October 30, 1985. Colleen’s love of helping others led her to work as a home health aide.

Colleen loved to take pictures of her family as the “family photographer” and love to show off her own confidence in taking a lot of selfies. Colleen had been through a lot and never gave up on herself or her family. Recently she celebrated two years of sobriety. Colleen always placed others above herself and showed this by always looking out for the younger generation in her family. To Colleen, family was everything and her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.

Left to cherish the legacy of Colleen are her sons, Dalton Brewer, Noah Brewer, Cameron Potts, and Caleb (Savannah Belt) Cameron, mother and step-father, Tina (Kevin Hankins) Grate, Father and Step-Mother Brian (Sabrina) Griffith, Sister Tonya Griffith, Step-Sisters, Austene and Brieanna Hurrell, and Ashley Jarvis, brother Brian (Brittany Cantrell) Griffith II., Grandma Carol (Franklin) Jordan, Grandma Lavina Lindsay, grandchildren, Nylah, Bentley, and Lilly, nieces, Arieona, Sincer, Ka-Moni, nephews, Zavyon, Dae’meir.

Colleen was preceded in death by a special friend Paul "PJ" Jarvis.

The Griffith family would like to invite everyone who knew Collen to join them at the Boyd Funeral Home for calling hours on Monday, December 15, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. There will be an interment service immediately following the funeral service at the Grand Prairie Cemetery.
