Cooper Joseph Barot

     Cooper Joseph Barot, age 13, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 6:45 PM from the Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Cooper was born on the day of his passing, October 25, 2010 in Marion, Ohio to Chuck Barot and Mindy Mae Gordon who both survive in Marion. He is also survived by a brother; Ethan Tanner of Florissant, MO., two sister, Charli Barot of Lebanon, OH. & Melanie Barot of Harpster, OH. and grandparents; Paula Main & Raymond “Joe” ( Lori ) Gordon all of Marion, OH. Cooper was preceded in death by grandparents, Steve & Dorothy Wacker.

     Cooper was a student at River Valley Middle School. He truly enjoyed camping with his family and the ”Yo Gabba Gabba” TV show. Friends may call at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday, October 30th, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with the burial to follow in the Grand Prairie Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Jackie Underhill. Memorial contributions in Cooper’s name may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio or to the Autism Speaks Foundation.
