Curtis William Diaz

Curtis William Diaz, age 44, of Marion, passed away at his home in Marion, on July 3, 2025. Curtis was born to Eliezer and Sandra (Roark) Diaz Jr., in New Haven, CT., on November 26, 1980.

Curtis loved going for walks around town. When he got the chance Curtis also loved to go fishing. When he was at home, he loved to eat pizza, drink bottles of Coke, watch movies and watch football. When it came to football Curtis was an avid Steelers and University of Michigan fan. Curtis also enjoyed playing videogames. He especially loved playing games with great nephews, Gunner and Memphis Granlee.

Left to cherish the memory of Curtis are parents, sons, Marquez and Quentin Diaz, daughter, Veronica Diaz, brother, Mark (Tonya) Diaz, sisters, Cheryl (Jason) Hartman, Jennie (Sam) Jarrell, grandmother, Irene Roark, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nephews and great nieces and cousins.

Curtis was preceded in death by 3 grandparents, uncle, Richard Roark Sr. and cousin, Richard Roark Jr.

Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation of Curtis on July 25, 2025 from 10a until 11a. The Funeral Service for Curtis will start at 11a following the conclusion of the visitation. Pastor Joe Harrison will be officiating. The committal service will take place at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens following the funeral procession.
