Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Brown, 69, of Marion, OH, passed away after a brief illness at the Firelands Regional Medical Center, on July 10, 2025. Her late parents, Frederick G. Morgan and Virginia Snare, would welcome her into the world on March 2, 1956 in Marion, OH. She would go on to find her loving husband, Daniel C. Brown, and they would get married on March 4, 1978, here in Marion.
Cindy was married to Daniel for 47 strong and loving years. She was the glue of the family and made sure everyone was kept in line with her feistiness. She was a woman
of faith and attended the Grace Baptist Church. Cindy enjoyed sewing, baking, and camping. With her green thumb, she grew many house plants that sometimes would cover the whole house. Cindy was also known by the alias, “Chime Lady”, because she loved to collect wind chimes and put them around her house. She also had a deep love for lighthouse themed items and lighthouses.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jerry Morgan, and her sisters, Linda Cole and Kathy Morgan, and one of her best friends, Joann Coffee and Ruth Ann Brown.
Left to continue her legacy and traditions are her sons, Dennis (Betina) Brown, Jimmy Brown, Christopher (Susan) Brown, and Benjamin Brown, her daughters, Tina (Jason) Griffith, and Malinda (Cory) Davis, her brother, Freddie Morgan, sisters Joann Thompson, Joyce Smith and Marlene Townsend. Twenty grandchildren, four great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her best friends Krisstinna Stansberry.
The Brown family would like to invite Cindy’s loved ones and friends to join them at the Boyd Funeral Home for calling hours from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025. A memorial service will take place immediately after calling hours at 4 p.m. Pastor Paul Schill will be officiating the service. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Brown family in their time of need.
