Danny Hall Sr., age 64, passed away in Columbus, Ohio, on October 21, 2024. Born to the late Estill and Millie Hall in 1960 in Marion, Ohio, he went on to graduate from Harding High School and become a corrections officer, where he later worked at ORW in Marysville for 16 years. In 2005, he married Janet Hall and they went on to have many happy years together.
Danny was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest. He thrived outdoors, whether he was boating, fishing, camping, grilling or woodworking, it all brought him great joy. Every trip to Bass Pro Shop was a happy one. He was one that took pride in maintaining what he owned, specifically his property. He was fond of yardwork and landscaping. Danny also loved music, enjoying a range from country to rock, and attending concerts when he could. His favorite bands were ‘5 Finger Death Punch’ and ‘Metallica’. Sports were another pastime of his, he gleefully cheered for the Buckeyes, Guardians, and Browns. Danny also had a soft spot for Trudy, his 4-legged companion.
Danny is preceded in death by his brother, Lester Hall, and his sister, Joan (Ronnie) Rawlins.
He leaves behind to remember him, his wife, Janet Miller, his sons, Danny Hall Jr., Joshua Shaye (Lindsay) Hall, and Aaron Shaw, his daughter, Meghan (Jay) Taylor, his brothers, Earl (Judy) and Rick (Gloria) Hall, his sister, Nadine Simpkins, his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jaxson, Mia, Leah, Jaycie, Brandon, Abby, and Shayla, and his fishing buddy, Terry Marcum.
