Darlene Ruth (Denton) Beveridge

Darlene Ruth (Denton) Beveridge, age 93, passed away on April 18, 2025. Darlene was born on October 02, 1932, in Marion, OH., to the late Loyd J. and Donna (Miller) Denton. Darlene was a graduate of Marion Harding High School with the class of 1951. On February 12, 1953, Darlene married the love of her life Roger D. Beveridge, and they enjoyed over 60 years of marriage together until his passing in 2014.

Darlene was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church. While living in Marion, and as the boys grew up, she and Roger attended church regularly. Darlene was a homemaker that enjoyed expressing her love through cooking. Darlene was a scratch Euchre player and held her own at the Bingo Hall as well. When the boys were younger Darlene also loved spending her weekends in the family camper at the Hickory Grove Campground. Darlene had a love for animals and especially her four-legged friends. If asked Darlene would say that her greatest accomplishment would be her family and was especially proud of her grandsons.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Jeff Beveridge and Sister- in-law JoAnn Denton.

Left to cherish the memory of Darlene is son Doug (Dawn) Beveridge of Hilliard Ohio, Daughter In Law Deb Beveridge of Marion, Grandsons, Captain Ryan (Molly) Beveridge of North Pole Alaska and Kyle Beveridge of Charlotte North Carolina. Brother Jerry Denton of Knoxville Tennessee and nieces Michelle (Niles) Lundt, Tina (Steve) Garrett and Jonna Denton.

Friends and family are invited to the visitation of Darlene on Wednesday April 23, 2025, from 10a until 11a with the funeral service starting at 11a with Pastors Josh Freshour and Joe Miller officiating. A link to a funeral service stream will be posted and live on the day of the service for friends and family who are unable to attend the service.
