Darlene Rayburn

     Darlene Rayburn, age 90, of Marion passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 3:45 PM in the Marion General Hospital. She was born in South Shore, Kentucky on January 27, 1934 to the late Tinsley and Myrtle (Harr) Everett. She married Allen Rayburn in Virginia in 1966 and he preceded her in death on June 27, 2000 in Marion. Darlene was employed for over 20 years with the Tuscarawas Plastic Co. before her retirement.

     Darlene is survived by her companion of over 20 years, Ed Norris, 4 sons, Roger Elwood Johnson of Marion, OH., Jerry Hobart (Tina) Johnson of Salisbury, MD., Gregory (Pam) Johnson of Marion, OH., & Van Kevin Johnson of Dallas, TX., a daughter, Diane (Lynn) Caldwell of Marion, OH., a sister, Sandra Kay Mormon of South Shore, KY., 8 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Carrie Lynn Rayburn and 2 sisters, Janet Roberts & Donna Everett.

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date with burial in the Marion Cemetery following the service.
