David Alan Conner

David Alan Conner, age 61, passed away in Marion, Ohio, on March 26, 2025. David was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Holly “Clint” and Patricia Sue (McClenathan) Conner on May 9th, 1963. His thirst for life and adventure started young, always riding his bike around town in his youth and exploring new areas. He was known for never wanting to stay home, finding joy in gardening, fishing, bird watching, and dragging his wife to try new foods. He couldn’t contain his love for his family, wanting to spend extra time with his grandkids and share experiences with them any chance he got. David was so excited to show his grandkids a slip n slide they had set up in the yard that he went down first, only to break a few ribs in the process. He never let his illnesses stop him from fully enjoying life, even as he became more limited in what he could do. His home was always full of warmth and love.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Clint and Patricia, his father-in-law, Dale Jones, his sister-in-law, Lisa Radebaugh, and his daughter, Kayla Conner.

He leaves behind his wife, Suzette Conner, his brothers, Jon Conner and Matthew Radebaugh, his sister, Corrie (Aaron) Heinrich, his son, Jacob (Kaitlyn) Lester, his daughters, Shaye (Bruce) Scott, Keely Cotton, Emilee (Josh) Kibler, his grandchildren, Amelia Conner, Katherine Beyrle, Harrison Cotton, Hadlee Cotton, Levi Massey Lester, Keegan Scott, and 1 on the way, his step mother, Bonnie Conner, mother-in-law, Joyce Ann Joyce, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at the Boyd Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 4 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
