David W. White, age 55, of Orville, Ohio, passed on, and was gathered to his people in the heavenly kingdom, on August 23,2025. He formerly lived in Delaware and Marion, Ohio.
David Wallace White was born on February 5, 1970, in Troy, Ohio to Wallace and Carol (Brouse) White. He lived and attended school in Piqua, Ohio. He moved to Delaware after graduation, where he worked in restaurants as a cook. He later worked as a cook at Delaware Court Nursing Home (where he met his wife, Beverly), and for 10 years at Kingdom Retirement Center in Marion. His work career ended after about 25 years when his muscular dystrophy forced him to retire on disability. David was an avid Ohio state University, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland (Indians) fan.
Surviving David is Father Wallace White, brother Philip (Amy) White, Dalton, Ohio; sister Laura (Trenton) Merricks, Charlottesville, VA; and nephews and nieces Jonathan White; Sarah (Christopher) Sommers, Sandusky, OH; Emily, Conor, and William Merricks, all of Charlottesville.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Carol White, and his wife, Beverly (Van Wey) White.
