Deborah Sue Lucas, age 72, of Kenton, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital, on March 29, 2026. Deborah was born in Marion, to the late Paul Edward and Maryanna Kinsey (Watts) Lucas, on December 29, 1953. Deborah was a graduate of River Valley High School and retired from Bob Evans working as a server for 14 years.
Deborah was a sassy woman that loved BINGO and would travel to various places to try her luck. When she could not travel as well, she made sure she still got her bingo fix at the Marion, Knights of Columbus. Deborah loved to bake pies and cakes but was known for her Cream Puffs. Deborah used to love crocheting and made blankets for her grandchildren. Deborah enjoyed watching Judge Judy and General Hospital and collecting Coca-Cola branded items. She also loved planting flowers and keeping a garden.
Left to cherish the memory of Deborah, is her long time Significant Other William Gilbert, daughters Angela (Roy Blackburn) Caskey and Mandy (Anthony Holewinski) Mattix, sisters, Kimberly Link, Jessie Artzner-Morris, grandchildren, Donovan, Dustin, Brandon, Dylan, Briana, great-grandchildren Sophia, Donovan Jr., David, Izzy, Nova, and Lola, numerous and lifelong best friend Cathy Stringfellow.
Deborah is preceded in death by Parents, and sister Paulanna Myers.
The memorial service will be taking place at the Boyd Funeral Home on Monday, April 20. 2026 at 11am
