Obituary
Debra Lynn Chard, age 68 of Edison, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at her residence.
Debra was born on July 8, 1954 to the late Floyd and Irene (Kipps) McQuistion in Sycamore, Ohio. On May 25, 1973, she married Dan Chard in Marion, Ohio. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage.
Debra retired as an operator for GTE and Verizon for 38 years. She loved camping by the river, watching the hummingbirds, reading a novel and just enjoying time with Otis our Shepard. She also enjoyed antique shopping. She will truly be missed by family and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Sandy Athy and Marilyn McQuistion and her brothers: James McQuistion and Floyd McQuistion, II.
Those who will cherish her memories include her husband, Dan Chard of Edison, Ohio and other family members.
No services will be observed. Donations may be given in Debra’s memory to: American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741. The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Chard family.
