Diana Jean Hamm

Diana Jean Hamm, age 73 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Marion General Hospital.

Jean was born on May 24, 1948, to the late George Harold and Ruth Louise (Corney) Power in Marion, Ohio.  On April 28, 1968, she married Donald Paul Hamm, Sr. in Marion, Ohio.

Jean graduated from Harding High School class of 1966.  She loved her family.  Jean will truly be missed by family and friends.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Linda Power and Eleanor (Van) Northrup.

Those who will cherish her memories include her husband of 53 years, Donald P. Hamm, Sr. of Marion, Ohio; her sons: Donald P. Hamm, II of Marion, Ohio and Raymond S. Hamm of Greensburg, Indiana; her daughter: Rhonda L. (Eric) Clark of London, Ohio; her sister: Kay (Bob) Barber of Lancaster, Ohio; her six grandchildren: Melissa R. Hamm, Rebecca L. Hamm, Emily N. Hamm, Kelly Anna M. Clark, Eric M, Clark, II and Ethan A. Clark.

Friends and Family may come to honor Jean’s life on Thursday, January 6, 2021, from 11am to 1pm at the Boyd Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2021, starting at 1pm at the funeral home.  Burial will follow service at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  Donations may be given in Jean’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  The Boyd Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hamm family.
