Dixie Lee Neal, 85, of Marion, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at The Meadows of Marion. She was born June 9, 1939, in Marion, OH, to the late, Millie Butcher & Lawson E White.
Dixie spent many years as a homemaker, along with doing Tupperware and Toy Parties before she and her husband purchased a carry out store on Silver Street and named it “Dixie’s Market”.
Dixie is survived by her children, Michael (Traci) Neal and Tami Neal of Marion, OH, five grandchildren, Kyle Neal, Brittani Carl, Courtney (Austin) White, Lyndsey Neal, and Nathan Lopez, 6 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Dixie is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Neal, her brothers, Franklin White and Stephen Butcher, and sister, JoAnn Clark.
There will be calling hours at the Boyd Funeral Home on April 9th, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a funeral service at 1 p.m. An internment service will be held immediately following the funeral service at the Marion Cemetery. Chaplin Conrad Esh will be officiating all services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tranquility Hospice.
